ABOUT US

40 Years of Employee Owned Dedication

Ameron Construction is an employee owned company, dedicated to providing top quality construction services at a competitive price. With over 40 years experience in the Centre region, we know our business.

AN EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY

Ameron Construction Company Inc., originally organized in 1969 as Ashcraft Construction, has been active in the excavation, utility and site development business in the State College and surrounding marketplace for over 50 years. The corporation has been owned by individuals until 1997 when an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Trust was formed and purchased 100% of the business. The Corporation is currently an Employee Owned Company whereby all qualified employees share in the annual distribution of stock from the trust.

Because of the investment of each employee, Ameron Construction Company is recognized as a leader in the industry for its timeliness, professionalism, quality of work and client satisfaction. Our greatest strength is our reputation with governmental agencies such as townships, boroughs and utility authorities as well as private developers. These long lasting relationships have allowed Ameron Construction Company to be hired directly or included as “special invitation bidders” on select projects. Furthermore, our ability to provide project management, construction layout and value engineering has elevated our project success rate above the competition.

Ameron Construction Co., Inc. is poised to maintain its position in the marketplace and enthusiastically looks forward to hiring new Owners to join us in improving operations as further challenges unfold.
